“I chose the right day to wear [leather],” Allison Iraheta joked with AOL TV. “They told me there was going to be cover [over the carpet].” It was the first Kids Choice for the season 8 ‘American Idol’ finalist, who’s been busy promoting her first album, ‘Just Like You,’ which was released in December, 2009.

Still, Iraheta’s making time to bond with ‘American Idol”s new top 10 finalists — not to mention offer a little advice, and send a big message. “I was hanging with [the Idols] … at … the top 10 party,” she said. “I was telling them to be true to themselves, [that's] what’s going to help them. … They’re real — all of them. I really hope the girls take it this year. C’mon girls! Represent.”

“Crystal [Bowersox] … is amazing — home girl with the dreads,” Iraheta gushed. “I love her guitar playing, she’s really cool.” The ‘Idol’ alum also cautioned the remaining finalists to up the ante. “All of them can sing,” she said. “‘Idol”s seen everything now. I think they want something different.” Repetition notwithstanding, the juggernaut won a Kids Choice Award for favorite reality show.

    Gah, I wish people would stop asking her about Idol and ask her more about herself. The video interview guy was great because he was fanboy, but still, how about talking about her single? But hey…woo!!! Latina cover!

    YEEAH love the latina thing. im gonna take a plane n buy it hahaha. it was hilarious when she said graciEs hahaha she’s so funny. and she looked so cute! i just wish she doesn’t wear a leather jacket all teh time. of course it’s her style, but it would be so interesting 2 see her with a white dress, she’d look beautiful!! And yes, it does bother a little she’s been asked most of the time 4 Idol, and not herself, yea ask her about gossip!IDK, more bout a new album (I’m waiting peacfully) or anything, not just Idol :)

    Allison in a white dress? Hmm…not sure about that one but we have seen her wearing all white in the Idol finale and she looked really pretty too.

    yeah she looked awsome in white, that’s why i said what i said. i dont know, maybe something different, not just black (thought that colour fit gr8t on her) i saw her on black many many times, so thats why it would b nice seeing her wearing a cute long white dress, i know the rocker chick it’s her style n after all, is who she is, so it would b nice that, one al least, see her in whiteor another colour :) I LOVE ALLIE!!

    Love her.
    As far as I can tell, she hasn’t been in leather for a while. In fact, lately she has been wearing lots of color.
    I am not sure if it is the hair, her skin tone, or what, but most colors (all I have seen at least) look good on her.
    And she is hilarious.

    yeah, hse’s not been wearing leather since quite a long time, but I’m just saying, she could be wearing a short white dress, just 2 see her in something different, just saying :). N yes, purple is so good on her, but those are kinda coulours I’ve alredy seen (on her) n she looks amazing in them, but, (not taking the AI finale on count) I’ve almost never seen her in white. anyway, doesn’t matters, she look gr8t in everything. She can wear a duck n rock it hahahaha.
    Yea,she’s really funne, if u make a list of funny teen idols, alliosn would b on the top.

    Just saying a little change could b gr8t ^^ I love allie!!
