Review

Fellow American Idol finalist Allison Iraheta kicked off the night, bringing Janis Joplin-esque vocals and firepower. At one point, she sang backed by Orianthi on guitar, as the young crowd cheered with excitement.

Another review:

It was still blazing hot outside at 7:15pm when Idol’s Allison Iraheta took the stage in knee-high black boots and lacy black tights under a long-sleeved black dress. She put on a rockin’ show! She was all over the stage having a good time and was definitely into her performance. Her voice is like a modern-day Pat Benetar, low and raspy (in a good way); this was definitely highlighted during her “Heartbreaker” cover. She’s got a perfect rocker voice.

Her current single “Friday I’ll Be Over U” got the fans going, but what got them going even more was when Allison brought out Orianthi to back her up in “Don’t Waste the Pretty,” which is a feel-good song that seems like it’d be placed quite appropriately in a movie soundtrack.
