Allison Iraheta: She, too, was a 2009 “Idol” runner-up and during her brief opening set, she showed off what got her there: a voice big enough to handle Pat Benatar (“Heartbreaker”) and a few of her own hard-pop songs, which evoke the sound and styles of Pink and Joan Jett.

    Anyone know if it was the full Scars, or the short version? Alli did 9 songs last time she did the long set – this time Robot was left out. I wonder if this was to allow for a full Scars, or was it to slow down the pace a little and give her a chance to catch her breath between songs.

    No one else live really works better acoustic. It's a hard song to sing with the full band but it sounds really wonderful with the quiet acoustic treatment.

    I think that making the change from RL to BMU was a great move. And with the longer set she's got “Still Breathing” back which is also a great add. Good to see that one is back. She stated before that she wanted to keep things upbeat, but I think she's backing off on that. Especially with the unplugged version of “No One Else”..another fantastic add. It's something of beauty to see Alli develop her craft as she matures musically. And getting the longer sets allows the audiences to see how diverse she can be….and knock their socks off!!!

    I'm pretty sure Scars was full. I was there and didn't notice it being cut short. She did Robot Love, too.
