Another side note: Speaking of awesome, Adam’s opening acts were his rock ‘n’ roll little “Idol” sister, the fantastic and flame-haired Allison Iraheta, and guitar goddess Orianthi. Unfortunately, the show started a full half-hour before the advertised set time, meaning these dynamite ladies played to a sadly half-full venue. This was a shame, as their talent truly needed to be seen by a sold-out crowd, especially when they jammed together on Allison’s recent single “Don’t Waste The Pretty.” Allison took this setback in her usual quirky, kooky stride, joking, “Those 20 people out there loved me!” once she was backstage-but hopefully this pint-sized powerhouse will get the headlining tour she deserves someday. Her pretty shouldn’t be wasted.
