Anytime we are so lucky & priviledged to get to see & hear Allison is an awesome thing. Glad there are people out there recording & posting her music on her website or to youtube. If I had the time & money to travel around the country to record everyone of her performances I would. Thanks so much for posting these videos!

As much as I’ve adored Allison, I know I’m going to be in the minority on this when I say that I’m unimpressed with this performance. Too much yelling/screaming instead of singing. Not enough annunciation in the words, except of the explicit adjectives. I have referenced her to Linda Ronstadt before, but she has to be more melodic in her delivery. Sure, it’s great to hear her belt it out. It resonates well, but to do it constantly wears out the effectiveness. I would love to praise her at every turn, but I only make this criticism with the greatest respect and adoration. I really want to see Allison succeed, but this performance has me concerned as to what see has been doing the past 10-11 months.

It is a night club performance. She makes song choices and such based on the venue and audiance. She always shows good judgment on what to perform where.

Once she has her own music out I’m sure she will perform mostly that. She did say her new music would be Darker and Dirtier and more Personal. We have Love and Tonight so far which are no cause for concern. She has always said she isn’t Disney so I would not be surprised by more sexy songs.

I agree, plus she has never claimed to be a saintly goody good princess type anyway, this shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone. Allison IS a little out there and she IS sexy and likes to show that both in her singing as well as with her body. We were warned about darker and dirtier music, she’s not a little idol kid anymore.

I feel sorry for Allison. She has a GREAT VOICE. She is singing in a Night Club? I can’t believe what I seen. Hollywood needs to train her so she can have her own shows on TV or on the Radios, she need to promote her albums. What a waste! this is. Why is she singing in these places? She is also a BILINGUAL; she could be traveling, going big international to concerts to Centro America etc.
They need to educate her voice and her stage performance so fans don’t criticize her. Allison did not have experience before she went to American Idol. So she needs to find a good manager the can really help her. Allison probably has a BAD FOLLOWERS who are just given her bad advise INSTEAD OF GOOD ONES. Hopefully Allison read these comments and learn from it.
I also hope she is going to school to finish up her college degree. I REALLY, REALLY FEEL SORRY FOR HER. SHE NEVER GOT PROMOTED CORRECTLY.

Night clubs and bars are not the place for a 19th years old girl to be singing.
Does she still working for 19th entertainment?
19th Entertainment could take her to better places rather than night clubs.
For what I am observing, her gestures and performance looks to me that she is drunk. Hopefully that is not the case.

Rose Marie, you think she is already famous, because she was participating on American Idol. Well she is not. So I think it is good for her to go sing to the parks, night clubs, hospital etc. As long as she promote her albums, otherwise she is only wasting her time. She needs promotion so she can sell her albums.

These aren’t Allison’s new songs, these are covers of songs that have already been HUGE hits. BTW, these are youtube videos, obviously the sound quality isn’t the best given that it IS a nightclub and there are a lot of people chatting in the background.

Does any body know if Allison is going to school? She should get her masters in communications etc.
For her own sake, she’s better finish her school; so if her music does not make her rich, she can look for different job, otherwise she will end up working for McDonalds making the minimum wages as we are doing it.

I’m gonna put my two cents.. I agree with some things.. I have to say, being a huge fan of Allison’s first album, these song choices kind of dissapointed me.. She seems to be moaning/screaming and yelling the song.. She needs to start singing for real again.. Like the new songs she came out with on Idol, ‘Love’ and ‘Tonight’ is two great songs, and I hope that her album will be more like that rather than moaning and such.. I know she has a big voice, and that’s why I love her, but there comes a point where moaning and screaming don’t get you anywhere.. I love Allison, and love her gestures while singing (which I know many others don’t).. Makes her more animated and such, but hope she will start singing for real and not moaning as much, because she has such an amazing voice..
